Reasons to be cheerful: Arts Council Grant and Portsmouth BookFest!

Two FAB bits of news this week: firstly, we are extremely happy to say that we have been awarded Arts Council Grants for the arts funding.  We are hugely grateful for this modest-but-vital grant which will enable us to promote our first writers’ weekend workshops, develop new partnerships with publishers and grow the Write Now concept.

Secondly, the Portsmouth BookFest website is now live!  We are chuffed to be part of this excellent literary festival.  The full programme isn’t up yet, but you can subscribe to their mailing list to be kept abreast of developments.  Follow them on twitter @PompeyBookFest for updates, too.  Roll on October!
